Fossil fuels are the most -important energy source of modern world which are formed during natural processes like anaerobic decomposition of buried-collected dead organisms. The age of organisms is varied from millions of years and sometimes exceeds more than 600 million years. Fossil fuels contains high percentage of carbon and it ranges from volatile materials with low carbon to hydrogen ratios like methane, to liquids like petroleum, to nonvolatile materials composed of almost pure carbon, like anthracite coal.
